Participants
Motorcyclists must have possessed a proper motorcycle license for at least two years. Foreigners who arrive in Bolivia must also have a valid passport, and in some cases, a visa or entry permit. More information will be given in a Bolivian consulate. Participants must subscribe, before their departure, to a personal insurance which will cover medical fees in Bolivia and which will include repatriation fees.
The traveler’s vaccines must be up to date. The vaccine for yellow fever, although not mandatory, is strongly recommended.
The motorcycle license and insurance papers will be presented the day of departure.
If these documents are not presented, the traveler will not be allowed to join the group. During inscription to any circuit offered by Moto Andina, the traveler must give any particular medical indications (blood type, medical history, allergies, etc.).

 Equipment
Participants must have their own personal motorcycle equipment, which will include at least: boots, helmet, lenses for helmets without visors, jacket, kneepads and elbow pads. A plastron is strongly recommended. If need be, this equipment may be bought in La Paz (although it is strongly recommended that the motorcyclist bring his own helmet). The clothing used, must be in accordance to the season and the chosen circuit (see Circuits). A wind-breaker (K-Way or other with vest and trousers) is recommended. As a general rule, clothes must be waterproof and very warm, since the circuits pass at altitudes between 5000 to 16,500 ft. Participants must provide their own sleeping bags. A maximum protection sunscreen, quality sunglasses and protective headgear are absolutely essential (most of these circuits pass over the Altiplano, where sun exposure is dangerous especially for fair skins).
A good mosquito repellent is necessary if traveling to valleys below 5000 ft., although trousers and long-sleeved tops are still the best protection against mosquitoes.
It is best for participants to limit themselves to one piece of luggage per person.
For photographers using cameras with lenses, it is advised to use an anti-UV filter, which will provide better quality pictures, as well as protection to the lenses against scratches.

General conditions
Upon inscription to a circuit, the participant accepts the following conditions:
A 10% deposit of the total fee is required. This amount will not be reimbursed (except in case of a cancellation on the part of Moto Andina).
The rest of the fee will be paid the day of departure at the latest. If in Bolivia, only a cheque or cash will be accepted. Any money conversion will be made at the current exchange rate.
If the total sum is paid upon inscription, a 10% discount will be applied.

Cancellation
By the client
If the client does not present himself upon departure for any reason (personal impediment, flight cancellation, etc.), the deposit will not be reimbursed.
By Moto Andina
- Total cancellation: If the cancellation is carried out by Moto Andina, the total paid fee will be reimbursed.
- Partial cancellation: If Moto Andina is unable to offer one or more circuits for at least the same number of days of excursion as planned initially, Moto Andina will reimburse each participant the sum corresponding to the missing part of the circuit.
Major Impediment
- Once the participants are on location and Moto Andina finds it impossible, for reasons beyond their means (weather, natural disasters, political or social conditions, etc.) to follow the circuit initially planned, Moto Andina commits itself to propose one or more circuits corresponding to at least the same number of days as was initially planned.
- The same way, in case of not being able, again for reasons beyond their means, to complete a circuit that has already begun, Moto Andina will propose a complementary circuit for the number of days that have been lost, after having returned to the point of departure.
- For the same reason, Moto Andina reserves its right to make any necessary modification at any time of any given circuit itinerary.
In any of the three cases mentioned above, the participant is free to accept or refuse Moto Andina’s proposal. Whichever the decision, the initial sum paid upon inscription will not be reimbursed.
- In case, again for reasons beyond their means, Moto Andina is unable to offer any service at all, the complete sum paid will be reimbursed.
Withdrawal
In case of withdrawal, for any reason, on the part of the participant, Moto Andina will make no reimbursement.
